We are currently looking for team members to work on the farm. Outside, in the dirt, in the sun, in the rain, in the cooler, in the greenhouse, in the FLOWERS! Pulling weeds, hoeing weeds, washing buckets, planting stuff, harvesting flowers, enjoying the outdoors. Full-time, part-time, once a week. All day or partial days are all good. I know you have a life outside of work. I just want your weekly schedule to be sort of consistent so that I can plan around it. Pay is about $12-18 per hour depending on your experience but no experience is needed. Just a willingness to learn and work in all conditions. The work is physically demanding but so rewarding!
You need to be able to lift 40 lbs on occasion. You definitely need to be able to bend over, crouch, kneel, crawl on the ground for extended periods of time. And you’re going to work efficiently. Gardening experience is great but farming is different.
Flexible dates
We will likely have both full-time and part-time hour available beginning late April or early May depending on the weather. We have work all the way through most of November and maybe into December (though it may only be part time once we hit October).
Maybe you just want to work a couple afternoons a week, maybe you’re in college and you are available all summer, maybe you’re a school teacher and only available for 8 weeks, maybe you’re a stay-at-home parent and you can only work a couple of days while the kids are at school in the spring and fall. That’s all good. Hit me up with your desired availability. We are a very positive and inclusive work environment and I would love to build a team that is welcoming to all sorts of people.
Let me know what you’ve got and I’ll try to fit it in. I need you to be available for a minimum of six hours per week to put you on payroll. Main work hours are 7am-4pm Monday-Friday, with some weekends possible, from May-October. Only part-time hours are available during March, April, November, and December.
