Last year we had a lot of fun welcoming folks to the farm to pick and take home tulips, so we're doing something even better this spring. On Saturday, May 10th, Fernabelle Acres is hosting an Open House with lots to do, see, and shop! It's perfect for celebrating Mother's Day or simply enjoying our beautiful spring weather...and FLOWERS!
When: Saturday, May 10th, 9 am to 1 pm
Where: Fernabelle Acres, 3530 80th Street, Franksville, WI (on County U, just south of County K)
We'll have tulip and narcissus bunches and mixed mason jar bouquets available to purchase. You can also PRE-ORDER flowers via our website (just do so by noon on 5/7)
Planting a garden at home? You might be interested in some dahlia tubers and other fancy plants that just didn't quite fit in our fields.
Get your hands dirty and learn to farm like the pros!
Weather permitting, we'll have some projects planned that you can help
out with at the top of every hour. This is a great activity to do with a
friend.
Also weather permitting, Emily will lead farm tours at 9:30 and 11:30. Hear about all the changes we've made as we learn this land and see how we organize our fields, tunnels, and plantings.
There's no need to RSVP; just show up! Please note: we encourage carpooling as parking is limited, and shoes/boots as you might be walking through mud and gravel.
Want to get notified about future on-farm events? We send out a newsletter every month with flowery pictures, seasonal updates, and info on farm events. You don't need to rely on social media to stay connected!
